Exercises to be performed in a swimming pool:

  • One length front crawl and one length back crawl alternately.
  • Jogging in water reaching chest level, exerting very small, running movements.
  • Hopping with both feet and on tiptoe, in water reaching chest level.

 

Exercises in the gym:

From the third week of the rehabilitation on, exercises in standing position should be performed with a weight load of 5-6 kilograms.

  • "Break out" exercise: The patient is standing on one limb, and from this position, she/he steps forward, so that the healthy knee touches the ground and then returns to the start-up position. This exercise should be performed twenty-five times.
